Until further notice Paddock Wood Bowls Club will hold no further organised roll-up, bowls matches or meetings. The official start to our bowls Season will be put back to a date, to be decided, once the government give confirmation that it is safe to do so.
Those wishing to use the club will be permitted to do so for practice purposes on the proviso that NHS recommend guidelines are followed at all times.
Paddock Wood Bowls Club is a thriving club playing the game of bowls all year round on our artificial green.
The club is located at the rear of Putlands Sports Centre, ample parking is available in front of the Centre.
Bowls is a game suitable to all ages ranging from our junior section starting at early teens to oldies in their 90's.
Our summer season starts in April with a number of 'Taster afternoons' organised to encourage those interested in finding out more to come along and try us. We have weekly 'Roll Ups' and club afternoons on Mondays at 9.45, Fridays at 1.45 pm, and Tuesday evenings (by prior arrangement) for members to play informally for fun and practice their skills.
Friendly matches are played on Wednesdays, Saturday's and Sundays against other local Bowls Clubs. This is a great way to meet bowlers from other clubs and participate in an enjoyable afternoon.
We participate in two Leagues on a Tuesday and Thursday evenings. In addition, members play in County and National Competitions throughout the summer.
In the winter, we hold 'Roll Ups' on a Monday and Friday at 12.45 for our 'hardy members who wrap up warm to brave the cold!
We are a "Disabled Friendly" club and welcome everyone to our green. We have dedicated facilities to assist disabled bowlers. For more information, please click here.
