The club has an active Social Committee which organises a number of social events throughout the year.

A selection of events previously organised include:

Quiz Nights:  We hold a members and guests quiz in April and October each year at St. Andrews Church.

Theatre Trips:  Trips to London and local theatres are held throughout the year.

Days Out:  Various days out are organised including a coach trip to the Thriplow daffodils.

Jazz Nights:  A Jazz and music night is organised for members to enjoy the event and socialise with other music lovers.

Games Events:  Every season we organise a Board Games afternoon in the clubhouse with members bringing food and drink and playing a variety of games

Carnival Day:  For the last couple of years, the club has hosted a stall at the Carnival Fete for visitors to learn more about the club and try out the game on our 'improvised' carpet.

Holiday Breaks:  Every October, a number of members spend the week at the Manor House in Devon taking part in a range of activities including Bowls, Snooker, Tennis and Arts and Crafts.  We also organise a Spring Break in Spain to get some late winter sun and play bowls at some of the clubs on the near Benidorn.

Presentation Dinner:  Every November, we hold our Club Dinner and Presentation Evening at The Masonic Hall, Paddock Wood.  This is the chance for members to dress up, enjoy great music, food and drink and celebrate our competition winners from the previous season.

Christmas Lunch:  In early December, we take over the restaurant at the Angel Indoor Bowls Club for a festive lunch.
